Mom's Birthday Shin-dig

So last week was my birthday, we celebrated by going to eat at The Rainforest Cafe, Lynlee has been wanting to eat there since we moved here. It has a rainforest/jungle theme, and has animatronic animals all over. Monkeys, birds, lizards, hippos, and are table was right by the elephant. Every half-hour there is a rainstorm with thunder and lightning. Well, the girls were scared to death, Regan cried the first ten minutes we were there and would not leave my lap, which was a nice change because she is usually all over the place. The pics are so funny, because you can tell the weren't really having a good time.

After dinner we can home and enjoyed birthday cake made by Billy and Lynlee and ice cream with some friends. All in all it was another good birthday.

Sunday night with the Bowns

A typical Sunday night around here always involves ice cream, baths, and an early bedtime. So going along are usually routine we had Texas' famous Bluebell ice cream, and gave the girls a bath. While Lynlee and I were cleaning up toys Regan decided to help herself to more ice cream. After I got the camera and started taking picture she started to show me her tummy and rub some ice cream on it.

After I got her all cleaned up AGAIN!! Billy started his usually bedtime ritual of wrestling with the girls and getting them super hyper making it almost impossible for that eraly bedtime we want. But we always have a fun Sunday night just hanging out with each other and laughing with the girls.

Another Update

Just wanted to let all are blog followers, all two of you, know whats been going on with our "relocation" to Texas. We are still trying to sell our house in Idaho, we had decided to just let Billy's company buy it from us, but have found that it has been very difficult doing all the insepections and fix-ups, not living there amymore. Thanks to are BFF's the Bybee's hopefully it will be over and done with soon. But just today we got an offer and are hoping and praying that it will all work out!! KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED FOR US.

On the Texas front, we have been torturing ourselves and looking at models homes, and have found a few we really like. One we especially love, but that is just a little more than we want to spend. We are hoping that the economy goes more in the toilet and the price will drop some more. We have just been looking and finding areas of Katy we like and have made some awesome friends in the ward and would like to stay around here. We still have a few months left in our lease if we can all survive the bugs, toads, squirells, and gecko's this wonderful rental house has to offer. Hopefully my next post will be a picture of me standing in front of a big beauitful house without any of the above.
